I have neglected this blog. There just isn't enough time in the day to get everything done and some things have to go undone, including the blog. For tonight, I'll provide you with some of the girls' most recent funny moments...
-Caitlyn is under the assumption that when she turns 5, she will not only be old enough to attend kindergarden...she'll be old enough to get MARRIED! Apparently she has her husband selected...I believe he is also 3 years old!
-We have finally come to the realization that Madyson antagonizes her sister and up until recently we were under the assumption that Caitlyn was always the one bothering her baby sister. Madyson has caught on quickly (must take after her Mommy who was ALWAYS beat on by her older brothers at no fault of her own).
-Caitlyn has become creatively sneaky lately. Her preschool teacher pointed out that one day Caitlyn tore off her eye patch and tossed her glasses into her locker shortly after Robert dropped her off at school. When her teacher questioned this, she told the teacher that her Mommy told her she didn't have to wear her eye patch. In addition, the day prior she snuk a pink sequin dress-up shoe to school (without the mate) and convinced a differed staff member that she had lost one of her regular tennis shoes and thus just HAD to wear the dress-up shoe the rest of the day. She went through the day with a tennis shoe on one foot and a pink sequin shoe on the other.
-We have learned that little girls MUST show their new pajamas to as many people as possible. Caitlyn insisted on going to town with her dad Sunday to pick up pizza and she convinced him that she should wear her new princess pajamas, which were covered up by her coat. Pretty much looked like she was wearing a dress under the coat. Apparently, upon arrival at the restaurant, Caitlyn promptly removed her coat and showed EVERYONE in the restaurant her new princess pajamas!
-Madyson is at what I call "the little stinker stage." This is the stage when babies know what they're not supposed to do and directly after doing what they're not supposed to do...they turn around, giggle, and then high-tail it down the hallway in hopes of escaping Mommy and Daddy. Madyson also has found that if she really wants to get to her sister, all she has to do is race toward Caitlyn's bedroom, causing immediate panic and yelling.
