BIRTHDAY PARTY FUN

Caitlyn's birthday party was yesterday and I for one am SO happy that only 2 of the 10 2-4 year olds were able to make it. It was chaos with just three toddlers running around the house, but fun was had by all. Caitlyn chose her own birthday theme...want to take a wild guess what it was? You got it; princess/tinkerbell theme. She picked out her Tinkerbell cake last weekend.

Of course, she didn't nap due to being so excited for her party and that really bit us in the bum later in the day.

The kids made their own princess/prince party hats, which was a big hit. All was well until I noticed they had started to open Caitlyn's birthday presents on their own and Caitlyn was NOT happy. There was arguing, tantrums, tug-of-war over toys, and no way to track who gave Caitlyn what since everyone was tearing into the gifts and they were being tossed around the living room. Caitlyn got some really great gifts, including the Snow White dress you'll notice in the photos.

Showing off her princess balloon.

Excited about her Tinkerbell cake.Playing with her friend, Brenden.

Opening presents with her friend Sullivan.
Caitlyn and Sully having fun with their part favors.
Learning how to use her new scooter.

The best part of this photo is Caitlyn kicking her foot up in the air.
Taking a rest with Grammy.

My favorite photo of the day. This was taken after Caitlyn's friends were opening her presents.
